I agree with Just C on this one. I haven't really liked anything from Eminem since the Slim Shady and Marshall Mathers LP. Not that he's not a dope rhymer...it has to do with the style he puts out. I just haven't felt it as much as other people. When he first came out, he was more Hip Hop. After a while, it seemed like he was yelling on every song and even the beats changed.
I know its like blasphemy to say I don't really be feeling Eminem, but that's my honest opinion...and he's far from the GOAT.

Sorry but you guys need to let go of Eminem's dick

This nigga hasn't put out a solid album since Encore. If you think otherwise you're in denial

What ya'll need to understand is that artists have obligations to fulfill upon signing record deals.

Let's say they sign a deal for X amount of dollars and they have to release X amount of albums in X amount of time

I think Eminem put out Relapse & Recovery to fulfill his obligations concerning label politics. Those albums were complete shit and as a huge Eminem fan that has dude's entire discography I was utterly disappointed by his last two projects

If you think stupid ass hooks with silly accents and multi-syllabics galore is good music you're sadly mistaken. Anybody can yap and yap using coherent, impressive, multi syllabics over so/so production with a handful of distasteful acccents

IMO Eminem released 2 shitty projects in a row on purpose for 2 reasons

1) To prove he's still the most selling rapper of all time(which he still is)
2) To make a mockery of the music industry (ie; by lowering his standards in hopes that the masses will soak it in like a sponge and be accepting of his new music just like we are with all the other sub par bullshit thats being released)

& I'd say he accomplished both.

If MMLP2 isn't fucktons better than his last 2 albums I'll probably stop supporting Eminem altogether and he'll immediately get knocked off my Top 5 list (which he's already at the bottom of due to his last 2 projects, along with Jay-Z)

Rap sequels are always underwhelming in my expierence.

I wish he'd switch his delivery more to his earlier style, the agressive gravelly delivery he uses now makes his verses harder to enjoy imo.

Time will tell though, his pen game is still exceptional.

I like his horror raps the most, he be going off in his serial killer shit. My opinion is, Eminem is the most well rounded, best flower, one of the most lyrical, and I fuck with his new shit, he was jus trying to adapt i think.

Phoenix 08-26-2013 01:10 PM

He already said in his new single. "I'm not a rapper I'm an adapter'

This album gonna be dope, in my opinion. I will enjoy listening to it so that what matters to me.

In other words, fuck your opinions.

I think he's been getting a lot of hate since he's gotten more serious.. You know your an idiot if you don't understand that dude was young, not sober, & fucked up half his life when he was making "your favorite albums."

Respect man... People want him to rap the same way he used to do. If he does that I'll honestly stop listening to him cause a 41 year old man rapping like that would be pretty lame... Plus he still makes dope music.

Recovery was a good ass album lol. I dunno why everyone's hating on Relapse either, there's actually some good material in there. You people hate on him because he's not a drug addict anymore, you're basically asking him to pop some pills and make an album lmao. That's not how shit works, if you're a true fan you know his style changed obviously. But he still makes sick ass songs, Space bound for instance in my favorite on Recovery. But everyone has their opinions.
