Take what I'm doing for example. I don't even really battle these days, but I'm trying to create new shit over in the text lounge to motivate people to vote. There are multiple threads every day complaining about voting and feedback, but instead of making a thread moaning about it myself, I'm trying to do something about it. Threads bitching are counter productive.

That's the point though... I'm not active... I'm speaking from a time when it was the way I'm discussing... and what I've observed it going to. This thread was OBVIOUSLY not meant for you though, lol! You are being productive... I'm not going to hate on that. This isn't just moaning and bitching... tell me, how many threads of mine have you seen? Probably, none... so this is long overdue, observations. Nothing more, nothing less... I even say in it, I don't really care if folks adhere to me. Shitting on the observations does nothing either... I'd say, to anyone who will actually read, this post is really reasonable. It's not saying the site completely sucks balls... it's saying it has and and still has even more greater potential is all. This is not an attack on everyone.

Exactly. It used to be mad different... I remember when I joined in 2005, I joined cuz it was featured in a XXL with Busta Rhymes on the cover. LOL! Like, XXL wouldn;t even fart in this direction of this site these days... Let's be honest. I think that's a shame, because this site is really a good site that just lost it's mojo a bit is all.

It's more of a "getting it off your chest" deal than it is actually helping anything, so my first post still stands.

All rap battle sites are dying out compaired to what they used to be. Even Goldmic is gone and that shit even had it's own Wikipedia page. LB always kind of stood on it's own though, and it's still pretty fucking active if you take it in comparrison to other battle sites. People are still coming onto the site, and everyone wants to try and change the shit. The question is, are they happen to want it to change from the sidelines or are they actually going to do something about it?

Trust me @Dave, I get your point... I see the same whiny ass posts you speak of... they annoy the piss out me too, and I guess you can chalk this up as one too... but, if cats would honestly read all the way through... I don't see how they can get that impression. I'm scolding myself, lol, and giving insight on direction (see the bullet points). This is not just some "this site sucks now, u all suck, fml" post... although the beginning of the post may give that off.

I honestly think the site is great... just been poisoned for some time... and from what you are talking about, I don't think you are a part of the poison, but part of a cure.
