It will do if we included none exclusive track members. (Which is def a good thing) Can't see it making MUCH of a difference for those already exclusive though.

We got guys like Freezy who refuses (understandably) to purchase 1. But I'm sure he'd make full use of it if he won which adds another quality artist to the track section.

But like I said I think for now it be best if we focus on working from the ground up. Get the activity back up in terms of plays and feedback. Get it buzzing again then we can run some comps.

If it works it won't be that long to wait. Nothing a solid promotion grind can't fix. and the key is the Noobs. The established heads been here to long to change and have been spammed to oblivion.

this site def missing dudes like @Ticket and @Le Inferno in the track section guys like @BENSON THE GREAT an countless others have kind of given up on the site if anything I think we need to move on an not be stuck in the past but i've stated most of our problems come from a lack of activity an until something is done to bring new people here old people gon stay leaving.

I've tried to get you re-modded directly and indirectly b/c you actually wanna see shit do good... but tbh this ain't helping we all downing the site... i've been to a few others the grass aint greener anywhere online for audio heads this is it the Mecca.... I think staying active... proving that rules will be enforced and keeping tourney's n shit popping is all we can do as Mods.... everything else up to Admins/Owners and actual users...

Also right now is Holidays shit has slowed down since the end of summer but should have been expected

Phil i disagree - its those same people that are ruining the section...no offense, thats just what it is...theyre all stuck in the past and acting accordingly...im not saying its bad or wrong, its just times have changed...people today need more than a 10 and a rating of "good shit"...we want to know where we can improve and how we can improve - and no ones taking the time to help, which is why the section has no new blood...every year new texters join and someone experienced takes them under their wing to "show them the way"...you dont have that in the track section, and its a hard leap in itself to go from text to audio - let alone not having a clue what youre doing

also, the quality of music here sucks...im sorry, but no one wants to hear your rushed, half-assed diss to joe schmoe - the same person you dissed two days ago (followed with comments like "wasnt really trying" or "did it in ten minutes")...when you flood the pool with bullshit, thats all people think there is...im not saying i make grammy quality music everytime, but you will never hear me use those excuses

People bitch bout the rating system bet never rate shit.... my last joint got like 20 views or some shit.. I peep alot of tracks here... things is personally I can't hunt out people's shit i've tried to get people to post their music in the audio section as a point of reference tried to give shine to music i thought was dope so have alot of other mods..... I mean what else can we do when we are the most active members and also have to enforce the rules an catch flack for it....

Like I said this is about activity, people like ARERAY came posted dope joints ain't get alot of love an ghost.... alot of you guys don't check shit in the track section and when you do its usually the same shit you bitching bout like 2 sentence comments... great track 10z... lol

We can't make you guys rate how we want our make you listen to tracks or post them I don't see how we supposed to fix this

Incentives & visability.

Fact: Majority of people dont rate tracks because they dont see them.

My usual visits to LB consists of checking the staff forum, text lounge & text battle arena.

Tracks need more visibility on the site.

Also (as unfortunate as this is) an incentive is needed because the truth is that your random site user will peep a track, leave a realistic rating and then be bombarded with hate and abuse in return from the track maker.

I think these are the key issues.

Maybe we need a more visable rating system like this perhaps.
