Hell yeah man that shit's BOMB especially if you have four contollers and some classic multiplayer games. There's nothing wrong with reminiscing about the childhood days. But I feel like they put too much time into graphics and not actual gameplay imo.

tbh, yeah. I think it's the BEST gaming console ever invented for the fact that it has so many classic games and almost every game on the system was fun as fuck! They seemed better b/cuz the industry was newer and everything was a fresh idea.. there were hardly as many games to compare the new releases to... and almost all of the 'classics' were remade into better sequels as technology advanced. The oldschool game are no doubts classics & they were dope as fuck back in the day, but to say they're better then shit they have out now is waay the fuck off

Okay, compare this idea to the Star Wars series or the Friday series. Most people would say their favorite movie of them all was the first one, so, yeah, technology advanced but that doesn't necessarily make the xboxs or ps3s "better" systems. It just means they're more up-to-date and with the times. Yes, there are a mass of improvements and the graphics have enhanced but IMO N64 is crushing every console for the fact that it will always be known for it's classic games and games weren't as expensive as they are now days, along with the systems. Now, this is just my opinion, I knew people was going to disagree but trust me... I came prepared to support my argument, bra.

When he says best console, I don't think he's trying to compare N64 with current consoles. He's just saying that "for it's time," he feels N64 was the most innovative system. Of course today's games are going to be "better" by every standard, but I believe he is trying to debate what system felt the most superior during its own time frame. I personally think I enjoyed SNES the most.

Yeah exactly. A comparison of "all" consoles with respect to their time frames. There's no way to accurately compare a NES with a Wii, or a Turbo Grafix 16 with an Xbox 360 without considering the time frames. Otherwise, it's quite obvious that the newest/most innovative consoles will always be on top. This wasn't the intended question. I'm not tryin' to argue, just tryin' to help the OP out.
