just for my own clarification - isnt it ok to ask to check a battle...as far as im concerned, he didnt ask for so-an-so to vote specifically for him, just to check his open battle...the reason i ask is because im asked to this almost daily

Nah Freezy. not everyone like xander will report people asking for votes and alot of them tend to get dragged into behind the scenes voting rings. All asking people to check battles behind closed doors is against site rules as we can't properly monitor it. Thats why we have the text and audio lounges aswell as the battle advertisment sub forums. There's plenty of ways to get votes.
