Canibus, he's only been to the army...idk if that counts but he raps about chemistry, math, scientific shit, the Romans, bible...closest thing I've heard him say something about a gun was "only time I'll give you the finger is behind the trigger of a gun" or something like that

Ah see... i'm not saying they NEVER have, in my previous post i said about eminem... of course, i understand a lot of people get into rap music by the writing about their struggle, i agree with you there, not all struggles are based around guns, prison, and drugs. growing up in a rough neighborhood
