both did great here really enjoyed despite it being the battle is was expecting the least from. Edged it to guts tho felt like he was more consistent and I prefered his style a bit more, but no sweat if anyone votes for Student did very good battle.

(The Walking Dead=Zombie show) Si Stu Cook Guts w/o Menudo as a DUMB PUN (Si=see/yes in spanish, Stu=stew(soup)/student, Menudo=soup made w/ guts) he couldn't handle the exposure, he's more-so into Solo Stuffin' Luke ina TON TON! (In Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Han Solo stuffs Luke Skywalker in a Tauntaun, pronounced "Ton Ton" to keep him from freezing. Also a gay innuendo, Solo (himself) stuffin' a guy named Luke a ton ton (A lot).

This was a tough call to make. Stu’s verse was packed full of a bunch of really clever wordplay, but guts had rhyming and flow that were just leagues ahead here.

Student the biggest thing holding you back here were your rhymes. Two syllables barely constitutes a rhyme, especially when you’re using imperfect rhymes. If you’d used fewer ideas your flow would have been cleaner and you would have been able to execute better multies, which would have given you a winning edge here.

guts your flow and rhyming didn’t really have any issues, although since your bar didn’t have as much going on in it it would have really helped (and been reasonably easy) to up the level either with another multi or with some internal rhyming. But also, although your punch was clean and well-executed for what it was, there wasn’t much of it. If you’re going up against someone like Stu, known for creativity and complexity, and you are only using one punch and one concept then maybe try to make it a triple entendre or something? Your punch was technically sufficient but really lacked the wow factor to elevate it here, whereas you’re normally really good with that stuff.

All in all my vote came down to whether a well-thought-out but poorly-executed bar from Student was sufficient to beat a decent but unmemorable bar from guts.

I found mysellf wondering what Stu was talking about at points, and guts had the better punch. Really close though, good battle overall.

This is a very difficult battle to vote on maily coz of the following factors - 

Student had so many concepts cramped into his lines his bar felt a little too reaching instead of feeling like a good punch or a diss (almost like my bar in my battle with rican), his only saviour tho was the first line and the ton ton thingy in the end was not working at all for me.

Guts had the better reader friendly bar, but was more of a flex than a diss and not really a punch while the exectution and set up was perfect the metaphor itself seemed a little reaching coz it was not a personal or a nameplay and generic of sorts.
