Expo:

Western Roman Empire split up in an attempt to take over more territory.

Red states = Republican – Trump = Republican.

Everything else is explanatory – If you have questions, just ask.  

Yea first verse waz better,multis,metaphors,word-play,vocabulary,punch-lines, gb,(good-battle)

Expo: In the book "Animal Farm" by George Orwell, Boxer is a horse that works really hard, but when he gets injured too badly to keep working, the pig-ruler Napoleon sells him to the glue factory anyway.

Also, you can tighten the strings on a violin or similar stringed instruments to change the tone they make.

I don't think anything else in my verse needs an expo.

As far as complex and well-executed concepts go I haven’t really seen a better battle this tourney. This was a hard call to make after multiple reads, but at the end of the day I felt there was one verse which stayed at like a 7/10 level consistently the whole way through and one which was mostly 6/10 but had three or four moments of 8-9/10. I decided to give it to the latter because some of the bars just stuck with me a lot more. Gb, good luck to both!

Dope battle...fr real but ima have to give this one to swordz...infelt he jus had harder punches...and slight slight edge with the flow from swords the stringin the dead and grocery bad lines would be my fav from u and sho the aristocrat line was pretty clean imo...but thats my vote tho

Aight first thing I do when marking these kinda clashes is just run through the multis and for me y’all both stayed clean throughout so I don’t need to shit on anyone for that. Also means I get to judge this shit on content so here we go:

sWORDz: Opening line: cold. Second line: COLD. HOME’S THE INTERNET is a nice lil personal jab. Quickly in the bag is a nice idea but Grocers in distress was a bit reachy imo. I wouldn’t say a totem “intercepts”, because that’s the opposite of “stacking”, so that wordplay doesn’t work. You pick up steam near the end but that wanking bar is horrible dude. It’s executed fine but it’s just a terrible idea. You close it out nicely too. This is a really dope verse.

Shodan: ARISTOCRATS IN BED shit dude that’s hilarious what a fucking reach. Got my attention straight away though because it’s creative as hell, and text battles are more about creativity so I totally respect that line. Props. Creative reaches > uncreative basic bars, which is what your next couple are sadly. Animal farm bar is really neat, maybe bar of the battle. Your next few bars are fine, nothing excites me. White House line fell flat for me but the Alcoholics Anonymous one is creative double-meaning wordplay that I really liked. Your closer is really tight too, and the better totem bar of the two. 

Just so yall both know I actually thought you each came with crazy fire, and I’m being harsh because a clash like this is gonna be decided by the margins. That being said, my winner gets the W because I found the verse flowed better, and less hit and miss. I have a bunch of respect for both of you, this is what I like to see. 

On god this was a tight battle. So let me break it down.

Multis: Loser had the better multi’s actually. The loser had one line with an extra syllable, but the winner had multiple lines that didn’t rhyme with the scheme. Felt the loser had better rhyming overall.

Punchlines: Loser didn’t have Punchlines that hit hard. They may have been creative, but creativity is nothing compared to destructiveness. And holy shit, did the winner bring some destructive lines. The winner had line after line of absolute destructivity, but the loser only brought line after line of creative pillow throws. 

Wordplay: Winner takes the category again. Certain lines in his verse had some really fire wordplay. Loser had some too but not as good as the winner.

Metaphors: This category is the reverse of wordplay. Loser had more good metaphors than the winner.

Vocabulary: With each category being split    2-2, it all came down to who used words out of the common vernacular. However this was a completely even category, with both using the occasional out-of-vernacular word.

PMWMV: This is what I use when a battle is split down the middle. And it is for this reason, the winner won. Punchlines are more important than Multi’s, and Wordplay is more important than metaphors.

Fire shit here! Both artists really put their skill on display sWORDs I love how you managed to have all the multies on the left then the right of the screen aesthetically it made the read very entertaining for me you were so clever w/each set-up leading into the punch like the Roman's in the west line was crazy I have nothing bad to say you were on point in all categories. Shodan I have to tell you that you impressed me here alot i know what I said in round 1 feel like you upped the anty considerably with this drop so many fire punches a complex and intricate structure super consistent and relevant I mean damn definitely in my top 20 reads of all time on this site the A. A. line is insane to me leading into the closer was so well thought out
