Damn this was fire. Vulture, this verse wasa massive improvement from your previous work. Though you still need improvement, you did not do badly whatsoever... Also poor wording of your punches. That opener was way to stretched and coulda hit alot harder if it wasnt. Hopps that opener was lit ahaha some of your punches didnt connect for me but the majority did. You had a good choice of wording for the most part and it made for a very effective flow.. Overall, Hopps takes this in all categories. He had some dope ass concepts, with really good wording that helped givehim the upper hand. Fairs there. Props for being the first battle up.

RV HAS IMPROVED ALOT ACTUALLY, YOUR RHYMIN WOZ REALLY ON POINT HERE, SOME OF YOUR FILLER/SET-UPS ARE TOO LONG IN PLACES FOR ME THO WHICH MAKES THA FLOW SEEM A LIL CHOPPY, WISH YOU WOULD HAVE EXPANDED ON THAT ''HOPSCOTCH'' CONCEPT TOO COZ THAT HAD REAL POTENTIAL TO BE A SCORCHER.  BUT ALL IN ALL I WOZ IMPRESSED WIT HOW YOUR ELEVATIN YOU DID A GOOD JOB HERE BUDDY...... HOPPS WAS ALOT CLEANER WIT THA WORDIN AN SET-UPS IN COMPARISMENT, I REALLY LIKED THA ''HAVE AN EYE FOR DEAD THINGS'' PART THAT WAS NICELY WORKED TOGETHER, I THINK YOU STARTED OFF PRETTY SLOW BUT WAS FLYING ALONG BY LIKE 4/5...... ALL IN ALL I GOT ONE AHEAD HERE BY A FEW POINTS, GOOD SPAR THO AN A GOOD WAY TO START THIS TOURNEY OFF..... GL TO BOTH..... FAIR IS DROPPED!

My main qualm with TheRomanVulture's verse is how drawn-out his setups were, which made all of his punches forced as hell. Rai's verse had some faults too but nothing at that level, so I think he won pretty clearly. Fair's in.

My vote's going to the one who brought more complex schemes and wordplay

The flows were even but my winners punches had more 'sting' here. Loser had a nice attempt but was hit or miss on alot of his bars. Fairs in fellas and good luck to the advancer

Not bad from either. Both had their ups and downs. Both did a good job of building up their concepts and maintaining relevancy, but I felt Hopps came with better concepts, had a bit more complexity and better execution. MVGT Hopps 7-6. Fairs

Felt like this was a style clash really similar to lockhart and Blue , Roman was pretty consistent and had a few gems in his verse- “Whisky at this square”  and funeral services stood out most to me.

Hopps first two lines were bonkers. Top it off with the “Sci-Fi movies” and have an eye for dead things” lines, and you might have the 3 biggest punches of the battle.

Had to give it to the one that had many haymakers..
