Babylon's original drop got cut off at 1:41 due to a system glitch, I allowed him to record the last 19 seconds and stiched it onto the end.

This was tough....took 2 listens to each to decide. I really liked a lot of Rant's bars. It was complex, intelligent, and different. He was personal in places and it worked well for the most part. I just wish I heard like more of a difference of inflection on the punches to really call them out and give them more emphasis. Babylon was probably more aggressive with his personals and while he didn't quite match Rant's creativity, he had plenty of nice ideas and executed most of them really well which helped a lot of it hit hard. Babylon's delivery was a little more textbook than Rant's and as a result comes off sounding a little cleaner on first listen. I gotta say that the difference here came down to the closer, and while 'plain/plane' has been done to death, the unique set up and delivery of that set of lines was as on point as any in either verse. high 8's.

This was a great battle, solid writing and concepts from both sides. One had better delivery and slightly harder punches

This is the best audio battle so far, by miles. There was a difference in style here and I think that made it even better. One was rather relaxed and well organised with his drop. While the other was a lot more agressive and just went at it. Very close this. 

Rant - This was dope from you but, that was expected. I liked how you came with some fresh attacks that most people haven't done yet (well at least I haven't seen yet). You didn't focus on pointless nameflips you went more creative and attacked his style of rap. This was then added with some very well thoughtout word play that I can't actually flaw. Usually with wordplay it comes across forced by most MCs however this was not the case. I feel your drop was also very well structured. It was consistent with frequent punch after punch. A bar I personally thought came off very well was the Cosplay one, fire. I'm giving this a nine. 

Babylon - This was a savage drop here bro. Shame about the last bit being cut off as it meant the ending of your verse didn't come off as clean. However you definitely compensated with the parts of your verse I did hear. Analysing the most of the verse I heard, it was sharp and on point. The flow and delivery was stronger than your opponent. You brought extremely aggressive bars which I thought stood out even more due to the different styles between the two of you. I don't usually think name flips come off that well but that Kanye show bar was fucking brilliant, both hard hitting and quite humerous, followed up with other hard hitting punches such as the shining bar and the rohaan signature bar. I'm giving this a nine. 

Overall gave you both a nine as I thought it was very even. I'm edging it this way based on preference of one MCs style more than the other, that's how close it was. Best of luck goes to both of you. Fairs in lads.

First off..Shame that one was put into a disadvantage due to technical difficulties. I still read the verse and pretended like you spit your last 15 seconds. With that said, great battle but it could have been way better if both of you delivered your bars a bit better and with more aggression. Punchwise I liked one's verse more but sounded as if he's reading it of a piece of paper and the general lack of emotion here hurt him. The other delivered his lines better and bridged that gap. Close battle and I've listened twice. Got one edging though

Good Even battle.Had to relisten a few times to see which I felt edged it.Both had good spots in their bars.The teen titan references,The ammo wordplays.AND  then you have the Ghost word play,haunting etc.One has better delivery and multies other edged with wordplay.

Ya both went personal as hell even went as far as breakin eachother down stylistically... Ya must really now eachother huh? Anyway, rant liked the flow and liked ur use of wordplay in certain sections aswell ur personals....Babylon the rhymes were deadly and some of ur punchlines and personals got some real reactions out of me if that made sense...I liked both.. i got one edging do to hitting a little harder for me...Probably my favorite battle in the tourney so far...Fairs in

Rant had the better battle bars overall, and Babylon had Rant beat in all the delivery categories.  Bab's shit flowed nicely and was more aggressive sounding, and also had better rhyme schemes.  One thing about Bab's verse as a whole though, is it sounds more like a track verse the way it's written.  Don't get me wrong, he was attacking and hitting with some personals, but it's just so poetic and extravagant in its style, it becomes too obscure at times.  Rant's verse, though also complex and obscure in spots, was more straight-forward and clean.  Rant just hit more consistently in my opinion.  It's a tough call because Bab's verse was extremely well written, and Rant lacked in the delivery department, but I gotta go with who I thought brought the better battle verse, and who had better set ups and attacks, which imo was Rant.

Yo this battle was intense!! I knew this was going to be a crazy match up.. Rant came ready.. Had some awesome concepts and nice jabs thrown throughout.. Even got to a little fast rap there for a minute lol.. Nice verse the best I heard from him by far.. Babylon came crazy with the flow.. Had some decent hits and came correct with the verse he gave out.. I felt both on this one hard vote I listened a couple times just to make sure I picked the right one.. Could go either way I feel.: my votes in good material fellas respect!!

Babs I won't lie. Your verse was dope as fuck, the whole delivery and the personals. Had some witty ass flips in there also, (queens blood in the heir/royal family). Rant, you sounded too monotonous here. Many of your lines fell flat either because it took too long to get to the punch or that the punch itself was weak. Your best bit was your closer, tbh.

I liked this battle but I'm just dropping a critique and pointing out your flaws mostly. Rant, monotone. When you write, know when you plan on taking breaths. Use pauses and other tricks to hide them. You need to rap more animated, that'll help sneak quick breaths in w/o being noticed. Energy was horrible. Writing was superb but lacked punches and aggression. Babylon, you were better with delivery but not much. You were holding back, not breathing, and honestly started to get boring. Have more fun with your verse. You can do a better than just recite what's written in front of you. But you're writing was nice too. To me this battle was a tie. I expected more tbh honest tho. To who ever makes it, have fun with your delivery, show more confidence and commit to the flow, and you need more punches. Fr. It's audio, you can squeeze them in. Again, I liked the writing and concepts from both and feel it's a tie. But I'm going with the concept or 2 I preferred over the other.

I have a winner here it was close. Both had good material. The only thing is both yall had weird delivery to me lol. Especially Babylon no inflection in his voice at all so for that i have my winner by an inch 

Real nice battle here punchwise. I was hoping to hear a bit better delivery and mic precense from both. For sure I felt I could tell both of you were reading straight through it and didn't really bring your personalities to light. So on that mark your even. I got one being slighty more consistent and creative throughout their whole verse.

Rant: every time i listen 2 Rants verse i hear more and more punches and infact i believe his punches were very intricate and well thought out but they were hinderd and slept on by a lack of energy and aggression hence the reason its better 2 listen a few times.

Babylon: flow and delivery were on point for the most part, mebby a lil stretched at times but + a nice list of multis are what i believe solidified your W on this.

overview: i think if Rant had have had the same amount of emotion during delivery then this would have easily swung the other way due 2 a slighty better written piece.

Pretty decent battle! Rant starting off with a few wordplay examples; tea and graphic content (16-bit, tool, graphic, rendered it) ... 

In that regard, great setup! The content kept hitting. 

And then Babylon came back. At first, the first half of the setup was more of a scheme on how Rant is 'less than you', but you surprised me during the second half of the battle verse, adding some comical punches and some wordplay like 'Shining Examples'. 

I wish Letsbeef would let us incorporate mp3's into battles, so we could clean up the vocals and have em be heard ever clear-er than previously on the site...

I'm giving the edge on this one to Bab, particularly because he was able to successfully dissect Rant's initial setup. 

Better flow and voice vs slightly more clever lines. Hmm. Votes in.
