I've received threatening emails from Lion's Gate before about pirating their films, got computer viruses more than a few times from downloaded files, and even once got hacked from using a proxy list on emule. You just got to be smart about it. These days, don't even visit a torrent site or use a torrent client unless you are behind a VPN. Don't open any files until you've scanned them with a good anti-virus, and learn how to use tools like Sandboxie.

Torrenting courses and and videos like those mentioned in the OP is far too confusing and sucks looking for them. I’d rather pay $26 for a more organized platform.
