But if we do, and this schedule is effective immediately, then we would have another tag next month.

I think the schedule is dope..We have no idea what the summer tourneys are going to be but generally speaking, we got a tourney almost every month and when we don't its qualifying month.

Off that same logic, we would have another Text Scheme in October.

To me, it would be better to implement the Text GC in October while having September double as an Audio Scheme/Text GC Qualifying month, that way you could move the Tag Team and the Text Scheme back to their somewhat normal positionings on the calendar (January and April, respectively), that way the Audio and the Text Scheme championships stay as relatively fresh concepts that aren't literally stacked on to each other, you maintain the text/audio alternation that is being aimed for, and everyone will still get their opportunities to go for the Tag Team, Text Scheme, and Text GC without a second version of a tourney happening in the same year (Text GC would happen twice, but that isn't something that hasn't happened before, and it would be for this time and this time only).

Everyone wins.

Personally, I think we should skip on any repeat tourneys for the rest of the year. I'd hold the audio scheme and custom beat before the years end then get into the schedule from.then on

We definitely don't want to be holding two tourneys at the same time. Tournaments are already a LOT of work for the staff member running them and most of the time they don't get the attention they deserve anyhow. Spacing them to one a month keeps the focus on individual tournaments.

Another thing to note is that things like the Topical can still be run during an audio qualifying month or something for the text heads that don't want to participate in audio at all. We really do need to start working on keeping the number of titles down though so that they'll have more value.

Would the Topical still be considered a Secondary Title? Same with the One-Bar since it can be ran via the forums as regular battles.

If we had more members and this place was a lot more active, I don`t think keeping the number of titles down to give them more value would be that big of a deal. Every title and every competition would be valuable, because no matter how many you have, some people would be interested. Keeping titles down is an artificial way to try to induce demand. Maybe it`s the best thing in the meanwhile, but let`s not lose sight of the fact that our real problem is low membership.
