PROPOSAL: Battling Heavyweight Championship

[RULE]

Battling Heavyweight Championship


This will (at first) be a text battling only title. It will be interchangable just like the current LBT championship. So if the champion is defeated on an official BHC battle card, the title will change hands.


Rules:

Combatants must APPLY to join the BHC roster. This will be a simple process that will involve submitting a historic battle verse of yours, and making a pledge to fulfil a battle card commitment.

The BHC will have a STRICT ranking system, which be based on performance just as much as results. The rankings will be decided by myself.

Member opinions on ranking and title battles will be welcomed, but ultimately i will make the final decisions.

No showing a scheduled battle will result in a 2 PPV ban.

All battles will be 16 line battles. The Champion will have the choice of making a title match 16 or 32 lines. This is part of the champions advantage.

No expo's will be allowed. No comments whatsoever from any battler or crewmate. Failure to follow this will result in a possible DQ. Mods will be enforcing this rule on any BHC battle. This will ensure that the verses alone speak for themselves.

General LB rules will also apply.

Battle cards will be roughly once every 4-6 weeks.

Titles WILL NOT CHANGE HANDS ON A NO-SHOW. If a champion fails to show on a battle card, the challenger will face the highest ranked battler for the championship.


There will be no additional title given for long reigns. However a stat section will be created and constantly updated.

I like this minus the no expo rule which I think gives a disadvantage for those that use personals. I dig the new rules other than that if the roster was kept small this could possibly run alongside the LBT? What are your thoughts @RULE I saw you comment about UFC/Bellator so maybe that's what you were getting at? Plus it opens up the door for unification battles which would be dope.

I see no reason both cant exist it the same time.

The idea behind both is to increase activity, keep em both going i say.

People can battle twice in one month im sure xD

I think people will be spread too thin between two PPV's after seeing the activity in the current PPV and this will devalue both PPV's by having less participants. But, shit, worst case it just flops. Can't make the site any worse than it is now, can it? Let's see how it goes
