SALT LAKES FOUND ON MARS

Idk if y'all have noticed or not, but we have been able to see planets Mars and Venus with the naked eye for about 4 weeks now. I thought this was strange and have been doing a shit ton of research on the phenomenon.

Come to find out, Italian scientist discovered 4 salt lakes buried a mile under the surface of ice. One reaching over 18 miles long/wide. They are actually saying that life form could be established because of this miraculous finding. Wanted to hear y'alls thoughts about the subject. Discuss.

ok so I won't lie when I first saw this thread title I thought it would be some sort of scheme selling one-way tickets to Mars, which we would then contribute to a give-a-little page to buy for Bnas.

But wow, this is fucken amazing. Even if there are habitable conditions for life on Mars the odds of it being there are extremely low, but still, very interesting. There are similar buried lakes under the Antarctic ice, so perhaps if we discover life that's been under there for c. 15 million years it'll give us some idea what life on Mars could look like? idk tho

Nice hypothesis. I agree that if there were life form in said lakes it would be extremely low. Considering the salt in these lakes are 5 times greater than our oceans. Also a cool fact is that the Chinese go up in 2021 to Mars and are working on a heated system to melt the ice away from the lakes.
