When you write a verse, do you make tha bars have same/similar length to make it flow better? Or do you mix it up but make sure each bar has it's own flow respectively?

You can’t tell just by reading people’s verses? LMAO

But to answer, I try to keep every scheme I run to have 0-2/3 syllables difference in the uncapped portion between Multis. Makes for a cleaner read and Multis arrive on time.

Well each SCHEME. If I’m using the same scheme for 8 lines each line is gonna roughly have the same amount of space between each multi, not accounting for cases where I spice with inner rhymes

rule of thumb, 12 -14 syllables per line, 24-28 per bar.. you can then play with the amount between the two lines.. as long as you get around 28 total at most..also if you run long syllable multis, then the 28 syllable rule can change due to the timing of a huge multi set...so you could potentially have a first line of maybe 9 or 10 lines, and then same in the second.. of course this is text, so to get a better idea is to pretend its going to be an audio battle, and read how much shorter the lines get . less words between multi s, or rhymes in general makes for better flow. thats why sometimes i'd say a line is runon because theres too many words til you reach your first multi or something.... read bars from @Phroxen if you want a better picture on dope flow in writing, in conjunction with dope concepts

thats alot of wording in one line... but in text ,if you want it to roll off the tongue, then as long as theres less words between multis and how the multis are presented makes a difference for flow
