Tourney qualification go to Top voters with actual voting power instead of top battlers? Just a thought tbh. Like I understand why the top battler should get spots but right now, top battlers are people like bnas and Mizz ammo who just snipe and dont participate in tourneys.

Any tip battler here is barely ever on the top battlers list, and they just wait on invitational tournaments to battle. Or a PPV card so I'm asking would this adjustment or temporary adjustment improve voting. If dudes are hungry enough to become top battlers, they'd be doing that but they honestly dont.

I feel like itll push people to vote more if voting got you a tourney slot at this point. Being that the site is dead and all

I think if everyone committed to voting on atleast 1 battle a day , shit would make a huge difference. Its a group effort tho ... Def takes some of the fun out of battling not having it get seen. but on the flip side, niggas should make their verses more entertaining. If nobodys excited about reading it , u cant blame them. Effort on both sides

But nah , i think ur idea might hurt the battling scene a bit. Earning your way into a tournament by battling makes sense... if Invitational Tournaments Exist Even better.

This actually is a really decent idea, although, keep in mind that Bnas is currently the top voter on this website. That being said he doesn't really participate in tournaments like that. Now what do you mean by people "With actual voting power?" So you mean people like mods and FVC? What about the other members tho? Also, EtH is somewhat right, this place is a lot more dead now. This idea of yours would be more full proof if we had a more active community of experienced members, however, it ultimately boils down to our remaining willing participants.

@EtH the site has been much deader than this and come back before lol. Even in the brief time I've been here it's been a cycle between periods of activity and inactivity. Looking at the current tourneys tho there's some good participation going on there so I am hopeful we might see activity pick up from here moving forward.

@lllllllllll that is an excellent idea I wholeheartedly agree with. I am not in charge of running the next month's seasonal tourneys. However, I have been trying to work out how I will include voting incentives in the next tourneys I run. I believe tying it to voting badges is probably the best bet. For instance, making it so that you have to have at the bare minimum a bronze voting badge (>10 votes iirc) to enter a tourney in the first month of the season, silver (>50) in the second and then gold (>100) to enter one in the 3rd month of the season. However, this would prevent people who only became active partway through a season from being able to realistically enter tournaments later in the season. I'm interested to see if anyone has any thoughts on how else we could implement this?
