From my understanding, the card is already made. Instead of complaining about the current card, that should just go on as is. I mean I understand the concerns, but I think the discussion should be aimed into how this can be fixed in the future in a way everyone participating agrees on.

I don't know the rules of it all or how it has been run in the past. But 4 callouts, +card battle is a little much. I am not surprised that eventually it went all out of wack. The amount of callout battles (that effects these events) should be limited per month and then go from there. It's obvious by this thread there really doesn't seem to be a system that is followed, as I would suggest making one for the next card so every person involved knows what to expect going forward and who will be getting the title/contender shots.

Thank you for addressing the situation with a legit solution. I wouldn’t of signed up for this though had I know there were 20 guys waiting for a title shot. Thanks for the Sig also, btw.

So what would you suggest we do regarding the callout system then? Should we do away with the idea of calling out the champ entirely or should there be an actual system implemented to ensure the people actually working up the card don't get fucked?

As I said I won my #1 contenders match 6 months ago. Come April, I want my title shot.

I respect that. If you won your #1 contenders match, you should be granted it as well as anyone else who has. I just don’t wanna participate, win a title shot, and wait behind 12 other guys before I get one. If I win a title shot, just take me off the cards that follow. It would have to be something worked out, but maybe 2 callouts max per month within a suggested time period between each callout and the card. This way if there is a change of hands in can be taken into account on the next potential card or the title match on the card.

I would suggest as far as the card goes, the person that won the contender match on the previous card should get the title match on the next card, unless he backs out of it. Then that opportunity should have to be earned again.

It may not be a popular opinion, but mine is that, the only way to fix the situation is to allow those that have a shot to have first dibs on the callouts, and from now on contender winners on card always get the shot on the next card.

In the end, it sounds like it's so far behind some people are going to be fucked no matter what and will just have to suck it up. And hopefully the system at which the LBA/LBT has in future cards is more sound to not allow this to happen again.
