Once you have a chatbox the forums are going to feel slow again. Its about rebuilding this side. The problem is people are so used to short bursts like livechat, 140 characters blah blah and a forum website doesn't really click in there anymore.

The forums were fine w/a chat box. If anything, topics, rivalries and ideas were created in the chat box and posted as threads. Where is this, if chat box comes back, the forums will feel slow again idea coming from? I’m looking around and its a ghost town.

Honestly, I don't feel like a forum site really connects with new users. Most people these days enjoy an immediate response. I understand the difficulty of policing it but really this is a rap battle site. There can't be that much you can say that is off limits.

A big problem of the forum style is that you don't know these characters when you first show up here. The chatbox makes you immediately acquainted with some of these fools and the drama.
