I personally use a shoulder holster, comfortable enough to forget it's there usually.

This only works in states with open carry laws, though. Unless you're wearing a jacket for concealment.

Good point, they allow both where I am. I've been looking into the urban carry holsters, the gun sits on your leg basically but the draw seems like it could be inconvenient in several situations. https://urbancarryholsters.com

Anybody seen or tried one of these?

When I'm worried about comfort and concealing, I slip my Ruger LCP in my front or back pocket (depending on if I'm sitting for long periods of time). Anything else gets uncomfortable after too long. I have an inside-the-waist holster that work decent with my LCP and my 9. Always nice to have options. Every day is different so carrying the same gun the same way everyday doesn't always work. I wouldn't plan on taking my 7 rd. .380 into a dangerous situation, but its easy to slip in the pocket of a pair of shorts in case of emergency, when concealing my 9mm would be impossible and uncomfortable. Find what works for you and make sure you practice, drawing and shooting over and over again when you find a comfortable carry.

You'd say no one needs to walk around with a bullet proof vest in an area where no one has ever been shot, too. It's completely relative to the situation you're speaking about, to me.
Levelling the playing field = You also having a gun? Yeah, cause what happens in these situations is two guys turn away from each other and walk twenty paces. Cool story Murica.

In actuality, what happens is one dude walks over to another one and shoots the fuck out of him. No gunfight, just one dude shooting another one, whether the dead dude had a holster or not.

Fuck your gun laws.

Excellent, I assume then that you're for strict gun control and ending open carry to 'level the playing field'. This would save all of you hundreds of dollars and produce the same effect whilst reducing gun crime considerably.

"But Nick, criminals will always be able to get guns"

Sure, but when you're facing time in jail and being fined out the ass just for having one, black market prices rise and financially it becomes much more difficult to own a gun.

If people are so shit scared of their houses being broken into, buy an alarm or a dog. Just don't touch the dog inappropriately like Nick does.

I've been looking at those too. They look really cool but, like you said, the draw seems like it wouldn't be optimal. Sitting seems like one of those situations. It would probably be useless in the car.

Doesn't it flop around? I was looking at those too but I was worried about it being annoying as shit.

The C9 is a little heavy and big for pocket carry.

I do practice drawing and getting sight picture and all that as often as I can.
