Fuck knows. The Scottish side say things about mandates (gay) and that Boris will have no choice but to do IndyRef but I wanna know happens if he's like "Nah". Feels like he can call Nicola a cunt on TV and it wouldn't make a bit of difference.

@EtH That's my thoughts. The Tories' new voterbase is working-class Northern England whose political agenda seems to be the opposite of Scotland's, so it seems that it's not just possible but actually favourable for BJ and the SNP to be foes. However, given that there's a reasonably high chance the UK economy will be in turmoil for the next general election and that the SNP will be required to form any government, I can see Scotland getting a referendum (and it being decisively pro-independence) within a decade.

I think I might be allowed to vote in the next UK election, and in any potential future Scottish referendum, but I'm not sure, which seems crazy since I've never lived in the UK.

I heard there were a lot of people who support the Labour Party but do not want to remain in the European Union and they voted Conservative this time just to make sure Brexit happens.

It looks like the vast majority in this instance who felt that way went for the Brexit party.
