Sounds like a good idea. How about this? Determine that every crew formed out of this will have the exact same structure: 1 leader, 2 captains, and 4 members.Let's say we start off with 4 leaders. Each leader picks out of the people who have signed up who their 1st captain will be. If there is any conflict, as in the leaders picked the same person to be their 1st captain, you can either make the leaders battle for it or let the person in question decide which leader they'd rather go with (I think battling for it is more exciting and is sort of the point of such a tourney). Once all the 1st captains have been decided, then the leaders pick their 2nd captains. If there is any conflict, this time, the 1st captains battle to determine who has right to pick their 1st choice of a 2nd captain etc. When it comes time to pick the 1st member, again if there is any conflict, the 2nd captains must be the ones who must battle it out. We do this until every crew is made letting the previous draft choices battle it out to determine who gets to have 1st choice in picking the next draft pick.
