Forum should be the homepage. - Lets Beef

To be honest... For a site that has like 30,000 people... Why do I see the same 20-25 people posting on the forums? It kinda disgusts me.

Not only would the forums be more active if you made it the site's homepage

But people will contribute more, vote more, and elevate more due to hanging around in the forum and learning how things work.

This goes to say...make the forum the homepage AFTER the much needed vbulletin updates. That & the right marketing and you could have 100s of people logged onto the forum at once instead of your typical 30-40 people online.

Because those 25 ppl have a 1000 multis each

It's not a bad idea, but i doubt it will help a whole lot...you don't have to be in Forums to see all the Battles, and being in Forums will def NOT help people elevate any (aside from maybe joining a forum tourney and signing up then seeing some better peeps battle, and realizing you have to step it up) but Forum activity would increase and ppl would be more aware of them....They should change the Homepage a little though, especially Top Crews and Hoods...Those are outdated as hell lol....Maybe put like Top Forums and Top Posters instead or something

i disagree ^ im with pulse, i think hanging around the forums will help ppl get to know who they need to...by hanging around the forums, you get a feel for how the site and its members work, not to mention you get exposed to everything the site has to offer...yes this is a battle site, but its also a community...we have the same 20-30 ppl doing the same shit over and over, thats why nothing changes...if we get more ppl into the forums, the activity will pick up and we can begin to change the mentality around the site

i disagree ^ im with pulse, i think hanging around the forums will help ppl get to know who they need to...by hanging around the forums, you get a feel for how the site and its members work, not to mention you get exposed to everything the site has to offer...yes this is a battle site, but its also a community...we have the same 20-30 ppl doing the same shit over and over, thats why nothing changes...if we get more ppl into the forums, the activity will pick up and we can begin to change the mentality around the site

Yeah, this site gets more members everyday who eventually quit the site due to what they think is hate voting. If they knew the forum was there and had an opportunity to ask why they were voted against or why peeps cap, and quote....etc...etc...

Theres also a SHIT LOAD of multis too, i didnt say it was a bad idea, but i think LB is just slept on as a whole, hell i barely found out about it 5 months ago because someone on youtube told me about it....Exposure to the Forums for everyone would be a little helpful to them, but it's not like there isn't a Forum Tab, and knowing certain ppl doesn't affect your skills at rapping....And those ppl quitting are mostly garbage anyways, so who cares if they're in the forums crying about it....There should be like an Auto Profile message, once you have a battle up, that links you to forums and says this is the only place where you can ask for votes, welcome to LB blah, blah, blah then ppl would be aware of them too....Not trying to piss on your parade here, just don't think that's the real problem

the only real section that has activity in the forum section is text..i hardly ever see use of any other section so putting as a home page i could see more people using more sections(maybe/hopefully) because sitting in a text section does tend to get boring after awhile

the same people stick around LB so the same things are going to happen,alot of people sign up but how many really stick around?..i think LB for the most part is simple to use.

i think LB just needs a change again i have not been on here in a while and i do see some new things but at the same time it lacks alot

i agree wit u..crew battles etc is out dated as hell alot of if is slept on as well..they need to either get rid of it or help it by giving it some sort of life again
