Honestly, I don't feel like a forum site really connects with new users. Most people these days enjoy an immediate response. I understand the difficulty of policing it but really this is a rap battle site. There can't be that much you can say that is off limits.

A big problem of the forum style is that you don't know these characters when you first show up here. The chatbox makes you immediately acquainted with some of these fools and the drama.

You have those who come to chat, and don’t see a problem with it being active

And you have those who believe chat is what keep people from voting

There’s no right or wrong being that members are going to use the site the way THEY want to instead of how someone else wants them to. If that’s the case, then people will leave and go somewhere they’re most comfortable.

First day of no chat, sites been pretty dry forum wise and damn there everyone who did chat just went to discord lol. So now the ballgame is... Is a chat that’s not on the site going to take away activity from the site or will it help?

Idk. It's useful for a good chuckle, and hasn't really made me vote more..but I've gone from 3 lines to 19 for the THC since it's been removed. Oh and Auto...send bars you getting 100'd.
