Mixtape Science?

It's clear to make a nice Mixtape you need good tracks but if we look more into it what else do you think is needed in ur opinion? For instance.. do you think a intro is important or not? Do you think it's better to be all solo tracks of one rapper or a heap of collabs? Skitts? How many tracks do you think a mixtape should atleast have on it? You think that mixtape cover really matters how it looks? Outro? Things like this.

also I think if you gonna make a mixtape you need to use the same type beats to give the tape the same type ah feel all way threw, if u go from west coast ice cube style beats an the next track is some mobb deep styled beat it will sound wack imo, I know i rap on different kind ah beats but im talking for the tape keep it one style.
