I think it's pretty nice thus far. You do a really good job with the background smudge.
Since it's black and white, I'd slap down a few gradient maps. Nothing major, but enough to bring at minimum, a bit of a sepia into the mix.

Amateur here, but I feel like some white highlights on moonknight himself would add some depth.

since it's still in the process..
1st . i must say this is a nice attempt,the smudge BG has just enough subtle definition to give some texture itself,i agree with ETh a bit.. it adds depth too.. speaking of depth nice touch on the black soft brush on the sides.. makes shit pop nicely some.. i'd try and use burn/dodge as well too tho and maybe high-pass.. the C4d wrapping around him is nicee but if you throw some small effect in the Fg it'd be a lot better with not much effort.. aggy is kinda right lol.. contrast would make definition stand out more.. but it wdnt add depth.. good advice tho

100% 1st V1 better lol
that damn blue soft brush gots to go, lil strong,even if you lowered the opacity its pretty bad,the effects in the FG dont compliment the rest of the tag,and the contrast is too stong.. you were doing the right things just basically the wrong way lol
