Gym heads
Anybody that likes to keep fit, healthy, ripped.. whatever;
I just joined the Marines and I've gotta get super fit in order to pass various tests to get my green beret - But I know dudes that have used pre-workouts such as 'Craze' and 'BEAST' .. but they got tested positive for stimulants.. God knows how these companies can sell such products legally when they contain what I can only imagine to be some form of cocaine/amphetamine in them.. an ya boy been using them for a couple years now.. oops
So I found a new pre-workout.. Simple, fast, disgusting (like all supplements).. but it's overdrive!
Ingredients; 1-3 scoops of instant coffee granuels (depending on your caffiene tolerance) mixed with a 'decent' amount of Pepsi.. Yes.. Pepsi.
The caffiene overload just brings immense stamina to your game; The shit is unbelievable and probably less harmful than all these other whack supplements that are sold wordwide.
So if you relyin on creatines, pre-workouts.. steroids.. blah blah blah - Don't. Just try this concuction and go pump that iron - I guarantee you'll notice a rise in stamina, which means more gains!
Also.. 1-3 scoops of coffee + 100-200ml of Pepsi = £1? x 20 days a month exercise = £20-ish a month ... Other supplements = £50-80-ish a month.
You're welcome

I hate how people made working out gay.
Eat a steak, lift some heavy shit or do some martial arts, eat another steak, have a beer.

I wouldn't take supplements anyways. What's the point in them? I understand if you're doing sports and you need to watch calorie intakes so you replace food with supplements as a source of vitamins or some shit. If you're just working out on your own, what's the point in all that shit?
It reminds me of this Sean T teleshopping shit that's always on. "Do my high intensity interval training every day, and you can be in the shape you want after just 3 months". So in short, work out a shit load for 3 months every single day, and you'll get in good shape.

@ Jason , I work between 60-72 hours a week 6am-6pm/vice versa, and train hard in the gym monday-friday and have training for Marines Saturday/Sunday and sometimes even right after a 12 hour shift... Considering the hours I do, how tired I always am, and am avoiding pre-workout supplements so I don't get discharged from the Marines.. This was the best thing I could come up with to give me that extra energy boost straight after a sterdy breakfast/before the gym.
It was a mere suggestion.

Oh and I don't know how the Marines work in the USA.. But over here it's a period of 41 weeks of training then the final tests consist of a 30 mile run with intervals, 1.5 mile run in 12 minutes and then straight after another 1.5 miles in under 10 minutes.. Then a swimming test and an assault course test.
2 weeks? I wish it was that easy lol

I've used nitric oxide as pre-workout before. It worked pretty well for me, but I only used it when I wanted really intense workouts. I think if you use stuff like that on every workout, your body sort of gets used to it and it loses its effectiveness. And tbh, most of these supplements have some negative side effect even if its something as little as dehydration because its in powder form. Pre-workout drinks can also lead to heart problems cause they make you heart work that much harder.

Trust me I know what the effects of certain supplements/foods are, I've got qualifications in Physical Education and taught biology for a short time last year; This is just a short term thing I got going while I'm powerlifting/strength building.
I know you knowledgable about this topic too, I don't doubt that. I was just giving a suggestion; Use it or don't.

Yeah Marines over in the USA are alot tougher, I just thought you meant the whole training/test period was a total of 2 weeks.. I thought wtf? lol
@ NOBLE I used nitric oxide supplements before too, but got crazy stomach pains due to the high magnesium levels in them.. You get used to it but I literally thought I was gonna die, rolling around on the floor nearly in tears n shit haha

Oh and @ Jason , like you said my suggestion only gives a short burst of energy, that's why I do it.. 1 cup of that an I'm in the gym doing what I call tricking the muscles.. Lifting as heavy as I can on each body part I'm working on that day, then when the caffiene dies down I start my regular training regime, which consists of lighter weights and more reps - But because my muscles have become accustom to lifting such heavy weight, the lighter weights are ALOT easier.. Sorry if this didn't make total sense; I'm actually on my 10th hour of my nightshift right now so I'm tired as hell lol

Also I agree with 'Work hard, eat healthy, keep natural' .. Ain't no better feeling than knowing you've accomplished something because of your natural ability.. just sometimes certain people need that kick.
I'm ranting now lol

hahahahahahaaha! Goddamn you mayaswell be from Manchester/London.
I ain't tryna be one of those people though.. I do it for my own personal well being.. Being the strongest version of myself is the best feeling after all. Fuck being half the person you could be.. An I ain't just talkin physical strength/size, but also mental - A good standard of living (eating healthy, exercise, sleep, sex, laughter, learning) will also benefit your mental health.

To me, working out and staying healthy only relates to fighting/self defence/survival. Not that I've done it for very long or that I'm even "healthy", but if I'm ever to commit it wont be for any other reason than those. For example, having the cardio to outrun anyone chasing you. Currently, I'd be better to stand and trade punches with a guy with a machete, because if I try and run you'll find me laying on the ground 5 seconds down the road coughing my lungs up.
I don't think I'll ever give a fuck about the aesthetics of working out. I'm pretty proud to be rocking a beer belly.
And while we're on somewhat of this topic deviation I've started. I fucking HATE those people who think getting girls is the only important thing. Like a guy wears a tight capital V neck pink t shirt, spends 500quid on his gay hair cut, gets his eye brows plucked, applies for big brother and Geordie shore and doesn't have a hair on his body faggot...who manages to get bitches, and then that apparently means he isn't a complete bender. A mate of mine is in that "Hey, if it works..." category, but I literally wouldn't even want to pull the birds those fiddlers elbow cunts are banging.
