I mean if you want a modern day example of what I'm talking about just look at North Korea. Granted alot daren't question through fear of being imprisoned or killed but alot genuinely believed it's propaganda machine when it drilled it into them that Kim Jong Ill once completed an 18 hole golf course in 1 shot or something stupid like that lol shit. They can't watch outside broadcasts the only information they get about the outside world is drip fed to them by the state media. Lol shit when Korea took part in the last World Cup (Their first time ever taking part) when they got beat (I forget their opponents) their media reported to Them that they won 10-0 and they Believed it, they couldn't disproved that statistic just like you can't disprove the Crime Statistics. Where would you even start? Your talking about something that is nye on impossible to prove fraudulent and they know this.
