the lasso is what most use for cutting, outline it>delete>move to the next segment

that's if you wanna use that later on tho just giving oyu ideas

I know about the lasso tool. The pen tool is probably the best to learn though.

Word. It looks blue around the edges, but that's because of the forum background. The edges of the hair are semi-transparent so it'll blend into any background.

oh alright,there was a method of making the hair match too, i didn't pay attention to it cause it was randomly in the chatbox in the other boards of someone else's convo, but i think he used a slipping mask for the hair from what i can tell for the most

the way you did it tho is kinda cool cause it'd blend right into the bg and it'd give it more of a better composition

I'm pretty sure it can be way better though. If you compare it to the original stock image, its missing some detail in the hair. I used refined edges/smart radius and desaturate to make them semi transparent. I'm about to mess with Topaz remask and see if I can do a better job with the same stock.

ppl miss details all the time as long as the end result is exceptional,do it up man.. i used topaz remask and had some fun.. and i dont even render but for the 1 and only time it was fairly easy.. till i got down to the very small details tho.. im a bitch when it comes to zooming
