Prizes: Concept Champion title, 250 Credits, and the Emcee Item of your choosing.

It's almost time, folks. The 5th Text Concept Tournament will be taking place in the month of June. With that being said, the sign-ups will be officially open for this tournament as of TODAY. If you are interested in participating in this tournament, place your name down here and I will add you to the roster. I'm hoping to get AT LEAST 16, but 32 is the ideal number I'm looking for this kind of tournament. Reach out to people on LB that you know would be interested in this tournament and get them on board with this. I will be running this tournament, therefore, I will not be participating in it. FAQ:

"What's a concept battle, Riep?"

A concept battle is where you are given a specific subject (i.e. This Battle Between Alzie and remarK About Family Guy), and you write bars tailored to that specific subject throughout your verse. Straying from that concept will hurt your chances of winning, so keep that in mind when you're writing your bars.

"What do I have to do to sign up, Riep?"

Pretty simple: All you have to do is have ONE battle to your name, and then express your interest in signing up here. Anyone with credits and the ability to write 8 lines worth of material can do that. I will not be making exceptions for accounts with 0 battles to their name.

"How many lines is it gonna be, Riep?"

For this tournament, I'll be posting the line length at 12 lines to ensure the quality of the verses isn't getting sacrificed too much. It's not too short to feel like you didn't do enough work, but 16 may be pushing it too much for some of the concepts that might be selected.

Caveat: DO YOUR HOMEWORK on these concepts before you write about them. You may be unfamiliar with some of the concepts you may be given, but you have the whole Internet at your disposal, so there's no real excuses.
