Text Heavyweight Championship Match

Edgeworth Vs Fidel Z

This month sees newly crowned champ Fidel defending his title against mandatory challenger Edgeworth. Both come off impressive wins on last month's card, against Celsius and Shodan respectively. This promises to be a truly great match-up between two multiple-time champions, Fidel being in the form of his life and Edgeworth being freshly returned from hiatus. Expect creative concepts and powerful execution from both sides here, in a true heavyweight bout.

Betting summary: This is a very tough one to call. On paper Edgeworth is probably the stronger battler, with three titles to Fidel's two, and with wins over bigger names such as Lockhart. However, Fidel is in the best form of his career, having picked up two titles in the past two months, whereas Edge is yet to return to his peak form. You'd have to back a battler of Edge's calibre to have gotten back to his prime by the time the battle goes down, but even so it should be a really marginal call either way.

Betting favourite: Edgeworth

Main Card

WarSand Vs The Saaxxx Baba

This battle sees heavyweight veteran WarSand clash with rising prospect The Saaxxx Baba. Saaxxx is fresh from an LBT challenge, and is known for his out-of-the-box punches and unique style. WarSand is a long-time top-tier battler and former LBT champion making his first entry into the THC, meaning both battlers have a lot to prove here. Look out for Sand's typical long-multi style and multiple-line setups leading to powerful haymakers, while Saaxxx will be looking to bring more of the original punchlines and stinging delivery that he is known for.

Betting summary: WarSand has been making a return to the battling scene after hiatus, and been going toe-to-toe with site heavyweights, and although he is fresh from losses to Lockhart and Rai, he proved he was more than capable of rising to their level. Saaxxx recently battled his way up the ranks of the LBT to make a challenge against Kiwi, which though unsuccessful was touted as one of his best verses to date. WarSand's experience and punching power make him a definite favourite to win this one, but make no mistake – anybody writing off Saaxxx here is a fool.

Betting favourite: WarSand

Kermit Vs Lockhart

The enigmatic Kermit, whose identity is definitely a secret nobody knows, steps into the ring against Hall Of Famer and [who's-even-counting-at-this-point]-time title-winner Lockhart in the third match-up this month. Lockhart has yet to actually show up to a THC battle, despite having been scheduled for two previous main-card events, while Kermit has previously been on the card. Both battlers have great winning records and are known for being among the top active battlers on the site right now, making this an interesting match-up.

Betting summary: There is perhaps nobody on Letsbeef Lockhart wouldn't be a favourite to beat, and the odds certainly look stacked against Kermit. However, speaking from experience I can tell you that Lock definitely is beatable, and if Kermit draws on everything he has and catches Lock on a bad day this could make for a groundbreaking upset. Nonetheless, Lockhart enters this match as a clear favourite, if he shows up that is.

Betting favourite: Lockhart
