With these two things in mind I think it would be reasonable to have the FVC still have a requirement to meet so that informed battlers are still making votes. I know these things don't seem like a huge issue right now I feel as if once the newness of the badges and the pestering die down so will the regular members voting.

Just food for thought since the FVC is being dismantled and reconstructed down the road.

The revamp is in the works for the FVC. I am hoping to have it running before the GC tourney start in January, so like 10-12 days or so to start the 2020 year.
