The forums are more concrete / provide reference points.
The shoutbox would be better utilized as just literally just "shout-outs", LetsBeef.com links to promote battles, tracks and cyphers. No swaying comment attached just the link themselves. Maybe set a shout limit per day, 5 or less so people don't fill the box.

Closing the bottom chat room would also put focus on the site more, in forums rather then folks spending all their time on 3rd party applications.
In the forums the site shows all your information (Name, Crew, User Title, Battling Record, Personal Avatar, Join Date, Votes, Post, Mentions, Tags, Awards and a Personal Signature).
It's so backwards to communicate in a chatbox where you only have your name like MS-DOS.
