It's hard to bring proper art into the rapping side of things itself, but I'd say storytelling is probably where most of it comes through. It's not like poetry because it's not inherently written with a tone. The tone is produced through the delivery and the music. But things like imagery and storytelling are definitely possible but how many rappers actually look at things like that? It kind of kills me listening to music sometimes where I'm like "So man, what's the point of this song? Like if you imagine pitching this song to a director or something, what's the topic here? What's the point? Oh, just the tales of the streets....AGAIN....any tale in specific? Oh just general shit that you've seen in your life arranged in no specific order or story....fantastic".
