808s and Heartbreaks was the one to give him the downwards swing. I remember the lads in school who would try and argue with me that Lil Wayne was better than 2pac suddenly were like "Wow Love Lockdown is fucking sick, Kanye West is awesome" and my hatred for them only grew.


But College Dropout is top 5 all time for me. Incredible album start to finish. Also Kanye was a fucking gangster when he did that staredown with 50 Cent during their "beef" and then went on his tip toes. Wasn't 50 Cent supposed to retire if Graduation sold more than his album and it did?
