As a multiple time FVC member, former FVC Mod and generally well-respected text voter, I feel pretty confident that was a close battle that could happily have gone either way. I would personally have voted for Mel if I had voted because I think she tried to do more with her verse, although I think Tomza delivered a cleaner if less ambitious verse and I can definitely see why that could win instead. This is one that comes down to personal preference in the end.
