I'm sure Ethnic Cleansing took place in 1948*. Thats when Palestine's problems started as far as I can tell, So maybe that was partly down to us giving up control. but im sure we never took part in the cleansing, which is essentially the cause of the problem.

I find it funny how the Jews went from being Holocaust victims pretty much straight into an Ethnic Cleansing process destroying hundreds of Palestinian villages and driving hundreds and thousands out of their homeland only to never be allowed back in again.

From a western perspective

You always hear of the Holocaust. Yet you never hear of what took place just a few years later and still even goes on today.
