EDIT: in case it wasn’t clear, I mean to keep NOBLE as an Admin and add a new admin to the admin team.

I think this thread is a good idea. It's good to get people talking about what they'd like to see happen within the community.

I think promoting a current tenured Mod to Admin would be a good idea, as NOBLE does a good job when he's around but he let's face it, he isn't as active as we would probably like out of an Admin. I think it's important for members to feel like they have a guy who's close to the head honcho, but who's frequently online for us to speak to. Whether we have a guy who has some coding knowledge is a different question, I suppose. But, it seems there may be a handful of guys here who could help with that part of the site. All it takes is some volunteering and for administration to agree.

Now, as for the day to day shit. When everyone says "The site is ruined", "This sucks", "What's going on?", what do they really mean? If you look around, there's actually a lot of things to participate in and what I find is a lot of the time the people making these comments are the ones ignoring these venues of participation. What I mean is, there are: Tournaments (albeit right now, too many), the IllMania5 Crew Draft, LBT/LBA, and even forum-run events that generate interest (Brayne Ded events, Prove Your Worth). If you take a second and just watch, there are things to do. As far as the battling aspect of this website, that's got nothing to do with who's Mod, Admin, who's coding and who's not, and what have you. If you want more battles to drop? drop more battles. If you want more voting? vote more. If you want to go after titles? join tournaments. If you want to mess around a bit, join a Brayne Ded themed contest all about ROUNDS bars or Compliment battles. There's things to do and things that community members are putting time into to make appealing. What it takes is more participation from the community. At the end of the day, if you don't like writing bars and battling, why are you even here in the first place?

I guess my point is, if everyone just becomes the change they want to see, the change will happen. How could someone new becoming an Admin somehow help the fact that battles take 2 days over time to close in the open arena? How could it help the fact that people are bored of the same guys being in tourney finals over and over? Hint, it doesn't. YES, there are some things that could DEFINITELY use some fixing up on the site, and there definitely needs to be better communication bottom to top on this site (as evidenced by this thread, which hasn't received an official response), and the site definitely needs good guidance and promotion to gain and retain members, all of which I think an Admin can help with. But, at the end of the day, it's a battle rap site, if you don't want to battle rap, it's not the place for you.

I'd like to hear some other issues people have. I'd like to be able to look at them and try and decide together whether that's a Mod/Admin issue or a general member issue. That way you can work from there to try and find a resolution. So, what is your beef with Letsbeef?
