Well, that was... resounding. Interesting to note that, last I checked, Labour + Lib Dems had 40% of the vote and the Tories had 40% of the vote, yet the Tories have a substantially higher number of seats. As a New Zealander this seems insane to me, as with our MMP electoral system major parties' seat numbers are directly proportional to their share of the vote. Do people in the UK feel there is a need to change your electoral system, or are you happy with it?

Also, mainly @EtH but anyone else that's interested also, what do you think the result means for Scotland?
