The idea of a crew mixtape competition where the participating crews each submit a set amount of tracks is dope! I think you guys should pitch it to crews and start a sign-up right away. All the other stuff about social-media, tinychat and graphic covers and all that...not everyone has a graphics cat in their crew. At the same time, don't presuppose what others will or will not be able to commit to this. My advice is to just keep it simple---pitch the idea of submitting 5 tracks (maybe 3 or 4 would be more realistic and feasible) to crews...let them plan how they'll come up with artwork for it and promote it...don't think for them.
