Default Championship Coronation

Today we crown a new champion...

It has been a long 13 year wait, but the ever legendary EtH has taken his place in the annals of LB champions, pissing in the corner of the auditorium almost immediately.

The hall of champions will never be the same. Some say they have finally been legitimized. BrickCity and Netcees now truely see Letsbeef as a contender. No longer will champions like Subreal and Rant besmirch the good name of Letsbeef. A new figure has arrived.

We shall now take a short walk alongside history to see how we got to this moment.

Spoiler for EtH's Tournament History:

Basic Text Tournament 3 - May 2008

After an easy win over former crew mate BAR SHOTz, EtH managed to beat his former mentor and USS creator Askari in the second round in his biggest win to date. A decent battle with TopNotch came next, but the third round is as far as he could make it.

Basic Text Tournament 4 - May 2009

Easy wins over InfamousES and Fatal Malignant say EtH make it to the third round once again, but eventual winner Jason had an easy win against an uninspiring EtH verse.

Basic Text Tournament 5 - November 2009

Another pretty effortless first battle against RULE's brother Red Myst, EtH fell in just the second round this time in a highly touted battle against Hawt Damn / PurFekShun.

Basic Text Tournament 6 - May 2010

Almost exactly like the previous tournament, EtH had a step over battle against WHITZ in the opening round only to fall to Krhyme Killz in what was treated as the battle of the round.

Exclusive Text Tournament 4 - October 2010

The biggest disappointment yet. EtH was expected to face UNKNOWN ARTIST in a dream clash in the semi final after beating lilknight and being matched with Student in the QFs, but computer issues say his verse deleted and Student won by no show.

Basic Text Tournament 7 - May 2011

As usual, an effortless opener followed by a loss to fellow midcarder, this time The Last One and IAmFlow respectively.

Basic Text Tournament 8 - July 2012

Despite again having the opportunity to battle UNKNOWN ARTIST in the next round, and again finally having the opportunity to get out of the second round, EtH no showed Apollyon after a quick wins over SARCASM. Massively disappointing.

Grand Championship Text 17 - March 2014

Mimmicking EtH's entry into the land of tournaments, it was his own rookie that beat him this time, with Obey picking up a huge win. This also marked the only time EtH was ever knocked out of a tournament in the first round, so we've decreased steadily since the original tournament.

Scheme Tournament #3 - June 2014

Bouncing right back, this was EtH's biggest climb to date. A big win over Wizdumb in the first and EtH FINALLY had that UA battle set up....this time UA no showed, great. Arguably his biggest win came next as EtH took out Bleu who was in the height of his popularity, but typical schenanigans took place as EtH would be banned during the semi final match against ViTRiOL and wouldn't be able to capitalize on the momentum.

Basic Text Tournament #12 - November 2014

Once again out in the first round, this time in a no show to Silver Dollar Sam.

March 2017 Grand Champ Text Tournament - March 2017

After a long hiatus, EtH came straight into a controversial one. Knowing his first two opponents would be easy, EtH started talking up an eventual battle with Celsius in the third round expecting it to come about. Celsius got cold feet in the face of a potential personal clash and announced he was no showing. Now with two medicore opponents and WarSand, a recent opponent whom EtH had beat as the only challenge, EtH no showed in the second round. Celsius actually did win no show battles after announcing he had pulled out, and had controversially asked WarSand if he could write for him against EtH. Eventually, Celsius and EtH did battle, with Celsius winning by one vote but EtH's verse being one to go down in the history books.

Scheme Tournament 8 - May 2018

After beating top up and comers KG and Alzie in the first two stanzas, EtH would do what he always does and choke in the third against WarSand in a battle most thing he should have been able to win.

Tag Tourney #9 - November 2018

The most memorable run for EtH to date, he would team with Punk and take out the teams of iFamine / KG and Swordz / Row to clash with Seul and Lock in the final. The result is still debated to this day, although it was still close whatever way it's looked at. This was the only time EtH had ever made a final in 11 years on the site.

Tag Team Championship #11 - December 2019

This established EtH as a bit of a tag specialist. He tagged with Lock expecting an easy road and they scored a victory over Subreal and Celsius. They fell in the semi finals to RULE and Rant, another disputed result.

Winter 2020 Text Grand Championship - Feb 2020

Continuing the trend of choking in the big battles and making it to a maximum of the third round, EtH beat Cold Steel and one another no show before losing a close but uninspiring battle to Esso.

Now, with the Letsbeef tournament structure finally regaining some of it's worth due to this valient victory, there is only one more place for Eth to legitimize once again...
