The main reason was it's a decider on the ruleset. Ill go into it deeper in the preview but ILLoKWENT was unhappy that Rai got a title without 7 defences, meanwhile Rai is unhappy that his legacy is bring called into question.
Other than this very specific instance and need to clarify the rules, the LBT King title is permanent.
Also wanna add in that Rai is a fucking gangster for accepting the stipulation. Dude deserves massive respect. Not a lot of guys on LB as ready and willing to prove themselves.
