Summary

Seul originally joined LB in 2012 under the name eXiLeD, but did not become fully active until 2017 after changing his name to PaiNN. He started out as a tournament competitor and contender for titles such as the LBA Championship, and was lauded for his clean delivery and mic presence.

However, it was not until he switched over to his multi account, Seul, that he really started to hit his stride as a competitor. It was not long after that he took his first reign as LBA Champion after defeating Rai for it in convincing fashion. After taking a short hiatus, he hit the ground running once again and cemented his legacy with multiple battles in the audio arena, including a run to get his first Grand Championship with wins over formidable opponents such as FreeK, Anonymity, Mech, and another Audio Hall of Famer in Bleu.

Not long after his win in the Grand Championship, he went on an absolute tear with his second reign of the LBA Championship. Destroying every name in his path, including wins over Mech, Alzie, SPACE_DABREE, and g u t s.

During this LBA Championship reign, he won yet another official title in the Audio Scheme Championship, this time over opponents such as 2 Gucci, Moni, FreeK, and Bleu for a second time in a finals matchup.

Even as he was winning Audio titles, he took the time out of that to win a Text title of his own, as he and his partner ran an absolute gauntlet of competitors such as Rai & Bleu, Shodan & Edgeworth, and EtH & Punk in the finals to secure the Tag Team Championship. This accomplishment put him in rarefied air as a multi format championship winner, something that only a few elite battlers have been able to do.

In his final official tournament win to date, he won the 2018/2019 Winter Audio Championship with a convincing victory over ToniC 801 and an epic final clash against Aggo.

If these achievements weren't enough to solidify his legacy, his time spent as a trustworthy and dependable Moderator will also be something he is remembered by. He's ran multiple successful tournaments, including bringing back the Rookie Championship and also ran a Text Scheme Championship. He also was an influential member regarding the 2019 Crew Draft kick-started by EtH and was picked by The Sore Winners as the #1 overall pick.

Site Impact

Seul has been one of the cleanest and more flow-oriented writers that the site has had in a long time. For that very reason, he is a formidable foe in any format of battle because in a text battle it will be an incredible challenge to write a verse cleaner than he can while keeping your punch strength at a level that can hang with him, while in an audio battle his delivery and mic presence alone puts many battlers at a disadvantage. He's a heavyweight in every aspect of the site when some struggle to be a heavyweight in just one aspect. For that, he's a true legend and belongs in the conversation regarding the all-time greats.

Letsbeef Speaks

"Seul is the textbook example of a battler and a writer in general that would be dope in any era. He has delivery on par with or better than most of the Hall of Famers from the audio side, while has the sheer power in his bars to dominate a lot of text's best battlers from any era. It's always fun battling Seul because it's a guaranteed classick everytime we battle against each other, regardless of the outcome. He also makes some dope ass music, so make sure y'all are on the lookout for that in the future!" - Jimmy Hoffa

"I don't think people really appreciate how timeless Seul's material and performances are. Sure, he has references to current pop culture and things of that nature, but I just mean the way he writes his bars and the way he performs his material is just classic and nearly flawless. In a few year's time, I think people will look back on his body of work, including the notable 2018-19 run and be very impressed with not only the magnitude of those accomplishments, but how well his battles will have aged. He is a rapper's rapper in every sense, and has delivered many great battles for us to enjoy on LB with his charismatic delivery, well crafted punches, silky smooth flow and overall wittiness. Seul, thank you for your contributions to LB in the audio arena and beyond, and congratulations on your achievement." - Edgeworth
