This is more like it. Feel like a proper rookie tournament is only fair to encourage us newer guys to actually wanna improve, instead of just getting slapped down by vets wanting easy titles. I'm so down for the tournament you suggested.
Seuls original post is from 2018. That was the last ROTY. This thread was just revived instead of a new thread.

Also, that year was run to include people who had been around recently but didn’t get to participate because ROTY wasn’t offered when they joined. Fortunately, a true rookie still won

But, yeah. At a bare minimum I’d like to see like 8 rookies go at it, if we had those numbers. Which might be tough.
