You can't say anybody is wrong when you don't even know the mans situation. He could be recording in a big room with tall ceiling's and hard wood flooring as well as a shit load of other stuff like t.v's ect which his voice will bounce off. In that case he would get a better sound doing what I said. It's a suggestion thread. So let him decide based on his situation who is wrong and who is right.
