Someone who just joined the website often times has a higher vp then someone who has already been around (that votes like shit).

You're always going to run into these situations but it's not just unique to our site, if you don't want to get "robbed" don't battle because trust me, I've got 200+ battles I should've won because of stupid votes. Just don't stress it, it's really not a big deal after all.
