I disagree with this entirely. If you can provide some fair examples I'll concede; I can assure you that never once have any of the current staff (to my knowledge) acted in such a way.
By that reasoning I'd have banned Erupt when he and I were beefing. Just C would've banned damn near the whole site. Shit, EtH would've had a few people struck off himself no doubt.
But that never happened, and there's no real evidence to support otherwise. Anyone who has been or is currently banned is banned because they've committed infractions and amassed enough infraction points to justify that; be it through cheating, disrespecting staff or any other offence. As a highly experienced member of Letsbeef I can safely say that corruption at staff level has never been a widespread issue, nor has it been - at any time I can recall - a significant or even evident issue. Sometimes tough judgements must be made. Unfortunately, outcomes will never satisfy everyone.
I can appreciate your desire to look beneath the surface @
Nicholas I genuinely do, you argue your point coherently and maturely. However, an executive decision was made by a long-standing, trusted and widely respected senior member of staff to enforce a ban - that had been lifted in the first place - as the member broke the rules again.
It may be trivial to some of you, but it's happened and it will not un-happen. I stand by @
RULE's decision, regardless of what other mods or members would have done had they been in the same situation.
EDIT: EtH was essentially on probation after having a perma-ban lifted. You must bear that in mind when trying to defend him.
