It's not about being too pussy to get into a fight.. it's about protecting your own from a criminal that has a gun. You don't bring a knife to a gun fight..
And in Massachusetts, it is a law to use a Shotgun on Birds and Deer...because it is one slug and can make a definite precise kill... and if you get a headshot (like your picture, even though that wouldn't look like that) that's a good thing cause you don't eat the head just the body
