I Believe Every American Should Have To Right To A Gun That Would Protect Themselves And Their Family. Given That It Should Only Include Handguns And Non-Automatic Shotguns. We're Not In Mexico Were We Have The Fear Of Being Kidnapped By The Cartel So We Need Heavy Machinery In Order To Shoot Down A Truck Load Of Would Be Kidnappers. Nor Are We In Mid-Africa Were The National Resistance Army Or Another Rebel Army Using Gorilla Warfare Tactics Will Murder You And Kidnap Your Children, Brainwash Them And Add To Their Youth Armies.

However, The Problem With Regulations Is Once You Start To Heavily Regulate Something The More Freedom You Can Strip Away From Citizens. First You Start Out With Banning AK's Then You Ban M26's Then Uzi's Then Automatic Pistols Then Eventually You Ban Every Non-Revolver Weapon.

The Middle Ground Would Be To Ban Online Buying Of Guns Via Non-US Websites (Where There Are No Background Checks And No Regulations To Buying Massive Amounts Of Things Or Ammo) And To Make It Extremely Difficult To Purchase Heavy Artillery.
