fidel and obey need to read about pascals wager. the problem with saying if i do believe in god and there is one i go to heaven and if i believe and there isn't one then nothing happens, is that, for one, there are multiple gods. each that you have to believe in wholeheartedly to make it to heaven, nirvana, etc. in my opinion, if there is a god, and we have a large pool to choose from, it would be better for me to stay a 'free agent' and not put my whole belief in something that has such a small chance of existing. it's kind of a moot point anyways because the chance of there being a omnipotent, omniscient being that created and governs the whole of existence is slightly more likely than katt williams telling a funny joke.
