Not even close and whats more he will never be considered the wests best. The times simply wont allow it. Never will the West be as inspirational as it once was in the mid 90's. Kendrik needs the Snoops the Daz's the Dre's the Luniz the Warren G's ect around him producing classic after classic in order for him to be anywhere near as inspirational as any of the artists from the wests golden age, artists groups and labels which simply dont exist anymore. he will forever remain in the shadow of those who came before him as part of such a formidable movement with such an iconic distinct sound he doesn't even remotely present in his music. he'll be forgotten in 5 years at best
